I've become an expert on beets over the years due to the fact that my wife is Russian, and we eat a lot of beet dishes (borscht, pickled beets, beet salad, etc.) This variety is simply the best one available, in our opinion.
Round, sweet, dark red beets measuring about 3" across. Both the root and the leaves can be eaten. Great for canning/pickling.
