New Zealand spinach is an annual plant, reaching a height of about 20 cm, with creeping and highly branched shoots. The fleshy, green leaves are rich in vitamin C, carotene, calcium, phosphorus and iron. Consuming this plant has a rejuvenating and disinfecting effect on the human body. It has anti-anemic action, improves the heart and increases the secretion of pancreatic juice. This variety has an indifferent relation to the length of the day, thanks to which it can be grown for a summer harvest.
