The Paul Robeson Tomato is a Russian heirloom variety that was named after Paul Robeson, a singer who was also an advocate of equal rights (particularly African-Americans and colonized peoples). He was particularly admired by citizens in Soviet Russia. This tomato variety was made available by Marina Danilenko and was developed in Crimea, Russia.
