A wonderful French heirloom head-lettuce from the 1800's. It tolerates heat well, which is rare in a head-lettuce. The heads mature at 8" across but can be harvested at any stage. Crumbly, frilled leaves that mature to a crimson-green. Mignonette Bronze lends itself to salads, burgers, and sandwiches.
